Sønner av Norge

Here is a translation of the words of this song:

Sons of Norway, the ancient kingdom
Sing to the harps with festival sounds!
Manly and solemn let the music arise
Our song consecrates the ancestral land
Memories of forebears return to us
Every time we think of our roots here
Hearts swelling with pride and glowing cheeks
Hail your beloved, your sacred name

And here you can listen to the Norwegian folk metal band, Glittertind, singing it:

Oh, it was such a moving chapter. I could not help but crying (not in a bad way, but in purifying way) at several scenes. The first was Hogweed. His speech was so moving. I think his simple wording really emphasized the pureness of his heart. It was great! And I am glad that he could stay with Kulsukker. I think he deserves it! The night scene where Ace takes all into his memory was so beautiful. And Madge! I loved her speech, witty yet right to the point. And the finale, when they announced the winner of the contest. I really could feel the excitement of Ace. What a great chapter!

I couldn't decide for a while, but I finally picked 'The Memory'. I thought the description of the night Concord was utterly beautiful. The scenery would stay in my mind forever with the images of all the sprites, fairies, and goblins. Thank you for the wonderful memory.

P.S. I loved the music by Norwegian folk metal band :)

Thank you so much, Jun, it's wonderful to know that it turned out so moving. I think you've got a good point there about Hogweed, he really is pure at heart, and as his confidence grows, his simplicity seems quite noble sometimes. It's fascinating to see these characters develop almost by themselves! I'm glad you thought it was a great chapter, it certainly was a fun one to write.
I loved your beautiful picture, 'The Memory'. What a great scene to choose, you really captured the beautiful snowy night, and the stars. I love the way the snow seems to have a glow of its own.
Did you know, you have now drawn FIFTY pictures for Elftwins? What can I say, except a huge THANK YOU  for all your kindness and support.
